Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

This policy explains what data AllergoRadar collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. AllergoRadar (“we”, “us”) is the service responsible for your data. It applies to the AllergoRadar Android app, the Telegram bot @AllergoRadarBot, the Telegram Mini App and the web app at allergoradar.app.

AllergoRadar provides pollen and air-quality information for reference only. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

1. What we collect

Account identifiers

When you use AllergoRadar through Telegram, we receive your Telegram user ID and the basic profile Telegram provides (name and language) so we can deliver your reports. When you sign in to the web app with Google, we receive your Google account email address so we can identify your account. We do not receive your Google password.

Location

To show pollen, air quality and weather for your area, we process the location you provide — either coordinates you share from your device or a place you search for. You can save several places (for example home and work). Location is used only to fetch environmental data for that area; we do not track your movements in the background.

Allergy profile and settings

The allergens you select, your alert thresholds, notification channels and times, and language preference. This lets us tailor reports and alerts to you.

Symptom diary

If you use the diary, we store the well-being and symptom entries you choose to log, so you can see your own history and trends.

Notifications (push)

On Android, we store a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push token for your device so we can deliver notifications. It is removed when you disable notifications or uninstall the app.

Subscription

We store your subscription status (free or Plus) and its period. Payments are processed by Tribute — we do not see or store your card details.

Website usage

Our website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (for example page views and approximate region). This runs on the marketing website only.

2. How we use your data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share data with

We share only what is needed to run the service, with the following processors:

We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the service.

4. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you stop using AllergoRadar or ask us to delete your data, we remove it, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal or accounting obligations. Cached environmental data is short-lived and not tied to your identity.

5. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/EEA) — including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us.

6. Children

AllergoRadar is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

8. International transfers

Our providers (such as Google and Telegram) may process data on servers in other countries. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards in line with applicable law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version, and material changes will be announced through the app or website.
